The Insurance Restoration Process Overview

Insurance Restoration Simplified

A brief look at the process and what to expect looking forward.

We are so excited you have chosen to trust us with your property! If you’ve never been through the property claims process this email should provide a brief overview. It’s rather simple when broken down but the process varies from claim to claim and between insurance carriers. But this is a brief over view.

1. Opening the Claim: First step is opening the claim, which has already been completed.

Opening the Claim

Opening the claim is simple, yet should be done with a few pieces of information ready. You’ll need a date of loss. If you don’t know exactly when the damage occurred you can call our office for assistance in obtaining a weather report for your specific address.

2. Insurance Inspection: Next is to meet your insurance adjuster and obtain a copy of the insurance estimate, we call this the Scope.

Providing Information

At Tempel Roofing LLC, we handle the entire insurance claim process on your behalf. We directly collaborate with your insurance carrier to effectively communicate the condition of your roof. Our goal is to ensure that an accurate settlement is awarded, allowing us to restore your property to its original state before the loss occurred.

3. Supplement Process: After that we will submit a Supplement for any omitted line items required by building codes or manufacturer installation instructions. Heads up this could take a bit of time depending on adjuster response time and how many hoops they may make us jump through.

Installation

Once we have an agreed upon scope of work you project will be added to the scheduled for installation.

4. Installation: Once we have an agreed upon Final Scope we will move to the installation.

5. Final Invoicing: Finally we will final bill the insurance carrier for any remaining balance.

The most important part is the supplementing process and this can take a lot of time if your claim is assigned to an unreasonable or difficult adjuster. Should you have any questions through out the process you can always reach out to our office by calling or emailing us.
